 Ride Schedule |
Rather than trying to keep a listed ride
schedule, I am going to try just using the
calender. That way folks can see everything going
on on any given weekend and look at the whole
month in order to plan their riding time. We can
then use the forum or the old site's message
board to discuss upcoming rides and/or coordinate
getting together for events. To look at the

 Atlanta Bike Show |
Five bikes and one Durango headed out early
Saturday morning for the International Bike Show
in Atlanta. Unfortunately there were several
events going on in Downtown Atlanta and parking
was scarce, except for the bikes, which were
provided free parking. From the photos posted the
show looked like there was something for everyone.
Fortunately the group made it back to Sand
Mountain before the bad weather moved in. Riding
season is just around the corner as witnessed by
the recent mild afternoons. Don't forget to join
us at the Ole Rock Cafe in Henagar March 6 for the
kick off of Two-Wheel Tuesday from 6-8. See slide

 3rd Annual Polar Bear Ride |
Hope all the brave souls who made it out for the
Polar Bear Ride made it okay and arrived back home
without frostbite. With a sore throat it was just
too much of a gamble for me to ride in that kind
of weather. Thanks go to Robert Hurst for planning
& Leading the ride, Larry Johnson for tail
gunning, Connie for manning the registration table
and to each of you who showed up and rode. I guess
this year fit the billing of a Polar Bear Ride
more than the past two years. Looking forward to
another great year of riding for our chapter and I
wish each of you a happy, safe & prosperous New
Year.

 Happy Holidays |
Well, as we close out this week and head for the
Christmas weekend I just want to wish everyone a
Happy and safe Christmas. Looks like the weather
will keep most of us inside this weekend. Maybe
we can get the less than desirable weather out of
the way and have some decent temps for the Polar
Bear Ride. MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR to
all and to all a good night.

| Sunday Ride |
Well Gang, we had nine bikes and 11 members show
up for Sunday's ride. J.W.Horton led us through
the back roads of NW Georgia to Chickamauga and
back. Great roads, good weather and good time.
Thanks J.W....you did good. Those making Sunday's
ride were J.W., Larry D., Paul Davis, Terrell &
Gina Ryan, Terry Thomas, Mark Hollis, Bill & Jean
Reed, Larry J. and Ronnie Ryan. Glad to share the
road on a sunny Sunday afternoon with you guys.
Hope all made it home okay. Also hope we have this
kind of weather for the Polar Bear Ride. Don't
forget 1:00 New Year's Day at Jacks. Registration
& Blessing of the Bikes will be from 12:00 til
1:00. Hope to see you all there.
